In addition, dandelion, cucumber, and parsley have been shown to contain natural diuretic properties. Lettuce on the other hand, is extremely low in calories but eating a bunch of it still makes you feel full. A cup of lettuce only contains a mere 5 to 8 calories so they are really great weight loss pals because the number of calories you take in will definitely be lower than the number of calories you need to expend to digest the cabbage that you have just eaten.   1. Wash, trim and chop all vegetables into sizes that can fit into your juicer.
  2. Process all ingredients except turmeric through juicer.
  3. Once juice is done, stir in ground turmeric (if desired).
  4. This juice can be diluted 1 part juice to 1 part water/tea if desired.
